Here are some tips to help with your Black Friday Shopping Experience

-A great online tip is to check out Amazon.com. The price wars between Walmart, Target, and Amazon are always strong and Amazon is matching and beating many deals while providing free shipping so check online before you shop.
-Make your list before you go shopping.
-Leave as early as possible in the morning and try to get done by noon.
-Make an attack plan for the day with achievable goals.
-Plan that the roads to the mall will be busier.
-Wear shoes that are comfortable and will last a long day in busy lines.
-Bring some snacks with you in case you find yourself in a large line.
-Don’t forget your coupons at home!
-A cheap ticket price can often mean a cheap quality product. Spend some time researching products you may want to buy.

If you can’t find something that you want or miss out on a deal do not stress there is still Cyber Monday, and a month until Christmas.

Last but not least have fun!

Another tip is to bring a reusable shopping bag to put your items in rather than pushing a cart through crowded aisles.

I think these times could vary by area. I had saw somewhere that walmart would beopening a 10PM thurs for regular items and midnight for the bigger items (electronics, etc.).

  3. kim says:

yeah, walmart opens at 10 with electronics at midnight

Just a heads up…..most Old Navy's are opening at Midnight on Black Friday and are also open on Thanksgiving Day from 9am-8pm. Cardholders can shop early (on Wednesday and Thursday) and get the Black Friday deals if they pay with their Old Navy, Gap or Banana Republic card.
